I mentioned this little beauty earlier this month and it arrived to today. I plugged it in immediately and it’s exactly what I hoped for. It’s quiet, has a great touch; it’s very slim and sleek. I’m very hopeful that it will remain crumb free and will be much easier to clean than the old one.

Way cool!
BTW, From Scratch has a new URL so when you have a second, could you please change the link in your blogroll (thanks for having me there!) to http://foodpluspolitics.com ? Cheers..ella

I agree – it LOOKS very sexy… BUT:
I couldn’t get used to the very low profile of this new keyboard and went back to the old one. I think users would get RSI real quick. Also the short key travel and the slightly larger spacing between keys was not good for touch typing.
I think Apple’s sacrificed practicality for looks.

I haven’t noticed any problems yet although I’m not a touch typist. I love the lower profile. I have a wrist rest in front of the keyboard and it keeps my forearms, wrists and hands in perfect alignment. With the old keyboard, I had upturned hands frequently and that aggravated my lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow).
